What emails will I receive?
We understand how overwhelming email can be so we limit the amount of emails sent. The emails you may receive include order notifications, shipment notifications, upcoming product notifications, renewal notifications, and general interest emails. You can unsubscribe anytime; however, please note you will no longer receive upcoming renewal and order notifications. Once your enewal processes we cannot offer a refund.
What if I'm not receiving emails?
Many of our order related emails are automatically sent in batch. Please check your spam folder to ensure they have not been been placed there.
You will also not receive emails if you have unsusbcribed from our mailing list.

How often will I receive my subscription?
The Wordy Traveler is a quarterly subscription which means you'll receive a new journey every three months.
For example, if you subscribe in Jan you will receive your journeys in Jan, Apr, Jul, and Oct
If you subscribe in Feb you will receive your journeys in Feb, May, Aug, and Nov
If you subscribe in Mar you will receive your journeys in Mar, June, Sep, and Dec
What are the dates for each season?
Winter - Orders and shipments between Jan 1st and March 31
Spring - Orders and shipments between April 1st and June 30
Summer - Orders and shipments between July 1st and Sept 30
Fall/Holiday - Orders and shipments between Oct 1st and Dec 31st
When will my subscription ship?
Your first box will ship within two business weeks of your order (except during holidays and when noted). Subsequent boxes will be shipped within two business weeks of your successful renewal or corresponding pre-pay date (the 12th of the month).
NOTE: Some shipping times may be longer than usual.
Renewals typically take place on the 11th of the month.
I ordered a multiple-quarter subscription, when can I expect my next journey?
You will receive one box each quarter (one box every three months). Here are a few examples: If you subscribe in Jan you will receive your journeys in Jan, Apr, Jul, and Oct. If you subscribe in Feb you will receive your journeys in Feb, May, Aug, and Nov. If you subscribe in Mar you will receive your journeys in Mar, June, Sep, and Dec.
Can I skip a quarter?
You can skip a quarter by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org before your renewal processes. We cannot offer a refund once your renewal processes.
How do renewals work?
When you subscribe to The Wordy Traveler, you will be charged immediately for the subscription option you have chosen. Once your subscription cycle has ended, you will be automatically be renewed for the same cycle model until you decide to switch to a different plan or cancel your subscription.
Subscription must be cancelled 24 hours before the scheduled renewal. Once the renewal processes we cannot issue a refund.
I just received my last quarter in my pre-paid subscription and I want to continue?
As long as you haven't canceled your susbcription, your subscription will automatically renew. We do recommend you login to your account to confirm your shipping address, card on file, and choice of subscription level.
Can I change my subscription choice?
Absolutely, Please login to your account or email us at email@example.com to change your subscription level, book genre, or length.
How do I cancel my subscription?
The Wordy Traveler is a subscription book club. You can cancel anytime by logging into your account or by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. Subscriptions automatically renew until canceled.
Subscriptions must be cancelled 24 hours before the scheduled renewal. Once the renewal processes we can not issue a refund.
I only want one quarter, not a subscription what do I do?
The Wordy Traveler is an automatically renewing subscription. To receive only one quarter you can place an order for the subscription and then cancel the subscription before the renewal. Subscriptions must be cancelled 24 hours before the scheduled renewal. Once the renewal processes we cannot issue a refund.
Will I be notified of a pending renewal?
We send out multiple emails notifying you of upcoming renewals. If you haven't received the email, please check your spam folder. You will not receive the email if you have unsubscribed from the mailing list. Renewals can not be refunded after they have processed.
When will my order ship?
Our fulfillment team ships domestic shop orders at least once a week unless noted.

How do I change my address?
If your order has already been placed, but NOT shipped:
If your order has not shipped and we have not created a label for your order (no tracking email was sent to you yet), we can manually change your shipping address for you.

If you have moved to a different country or a different domestic shipping zone there could be an increase in shipping cost that will need to be paid to ship to the new address.
If your order has shipped:
Once your order has left our facility, or you received an email with a tracking number, we cannot change the address of the order.
In the event that your order is returned to us, we can forward it to your new address and a re-shipping fee will be applied.
If you have a subscription, and need to change your address for future orders:
Log in to your account and update your shipping address at any time. Future shipments and renewals will be sent to your updated address.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do! We ship USPS international and rates vary depending on the country. International subscribers are responsible for any customs and duties their country may charge. Please note USPS shipping rates to Canada have increased as have shipment times.
How do I track my order?
Once your label has been printed, you will receive an Shipment Confirmation email with your tracking number. Make sure to check your spam folder for this email.
We are currently using USPS shipping for all orders.
How much is shipping?
Shipping rates are determined by carriers and are subject to change with carrier policies and price fluctuations.
International orders: Customs, duties, and import taxes are not collected by The Wordy Traveler. Your order may be subject to additional fees upon delivery, determined by your country. International shipping reflect current international shipping rates. Items ship at current USPS International shipping rates.
When will my order arrive?
Delivery times are determined by USPS. The Wordy Traveler cannot guarantee delivery time for orders.
All orders are shipped via USPS. Please follow the tracking information provided in your shipment notification email.
International orders. Please note that shipping in some countries takes longer than others. Once again, there is no guaranteed arrival date with international orders.
The Wordy Traveler is not responsible for shipping delays due to weather, global pandemics, couriers, or theft. Note, our customer service cares about your order and would be happy to address your concerns at firstname.lastname@example.org
My package is missing, stolen, or undelivered?
Lost or Stolen Items:
The Wordy Traveler is not responsible for any items stolen during transit as we cannot control any tampering or mis-deliveries of items after they leave Wordy Traveler headquarters. Any claims should be filed with USPS.
The Wordy Traveler will replace lost items if tracking no longer updates. The time period for claims is dependent on the time frame set by the shipping provider.
This policy also applies to scenarios where packages are marked as delivered but are not received.
If USPS tracking shows the package as delivered, please contact USPS directly.
If USPS tracking shows the package as undelivered, you can contact The Wordy Traveler to determine if the package was returned to The Wordy Traveler headquarters. If the package was returned, The Wordy Traveler may be able to reship the package and the shipping fee will be charged. In a scenario where the package was not returned to The Wordy Traveler, please contact USPS.
Packages that have an incomplete or incorrect address will not be covered by The Wordy Traveler if they cannot be delivered.
Tacking number not updating?
Packages where tracking information does not update after 45 days for International customers and 15 days for domestic. Please contact email@example.com and we will aid in tracking down your package, filing a claim, and/or re-shipping your package. An email must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org before 60 days for international and 30 days of domestic for us to cover a lost package.
Can I request to have a box held or shipped at a different time?
Subscriptions: You can always skip a quarter by contacting email@example.com.

My order was sent to a wrong address?
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to try and help.
If the incorrect address was the fault of the shipping company or shipping software we are happy to resend the shipment.
If the address was incorrectly inputted, not updated, or incorrect and the shipment is returned to us, we may be able to reship the package and will charge a reshipment fee. If the package is not returned to The Wordy Traveler, we will not be able to cover the package.
In you are moving, please log in to your account to update your address or contact email@example.com and we will be happy to help ensure you will continue to receive your Wordy Traveler Subscription with no issues.
Will my gift recipients receive a shipping notification?
Gift recipients will not receive a shipping notification. Shipping notifications will go to the email for the account that purchased the gift. Your gift message will be included in a card inside of the first shipment.
Will my gift recipient receive my gift message?
Yes, your gift recipient will receive your included gift message inside their first shipment.
Will my gift recipients subscription automatically renew?
If you order a designated Wordy Traveler Gift subscription product, you can prepay for up to 4 seasonal shipments. Unlike recurring subscriptions, you will not be charged for your gift subscription after your initial, one-time payment. Gift subscriptions may not be modified, e.g. rescheduled, change selections, etc.
Your first gift subscription delivery will be processed for shipment after you check out, just like a standard, one-time purchase. After the initial order ships, your gift subscription orders are automatically delivered every three months.

Can I have a gift certificate to give to the gift recipient?
Yes, please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like a .pdf gift certificate.
Can you hold a shipment for the giftee to receive at a certain date?
Unfortunately, we can no longer offer this service.
When do I need to cancel my subscription to ensure I will not be billed again?
You must cancel your subscription 24 hours prior to the renewal day to ensure you will not be billed again.
Once the subscription renewal is processed we cannot offer a refund.
How can I pay for my order?
The Wordy Traveler accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal
Note: all pre-orders and multiple quarter susbcription products are billed at the time of checkout.
How do I update my from of payment?
First, log into your Wordy Traveler Account. Navigate to "Manage Subscriptions". Select "Billing Information". There you can update your payment information and change your billing method.
*Please note that your account is created from your billing email. Entering a new/different email than your previous billing email will automatically create a separate account.
My payment failed, what should I do?
This signals an error with your payment account. Please log in to your account to make any updates or corrections.
Make sure you have enough funds in your account. If necessary, update your payment information on your Wordy Traveler account to a different payment method.
The Wordy Traveler does not offer returns or refunds on orders.
In the event of an error on the part of The Wordy Traveler, we will replace or reship a package when necessary.
In the rare circumstances where we offer a refund or return, the payment processing fees will not be refunded and any discount code applied is then forfeited.
Returns can not be issued on shipped products.
Subscriptions must be cancelled 24 hours before the scheduled renewal. Once the renewal processes we cannot issue a refund.
What if my box has been damaged?
If a product arrives damaged and there is no evidence it was damaged by the negligence of the shipping carrier, customers have 14 days after receiving an item to email email@example.com to request an item replacement. If the damaged item is no longer available, The Wordy Traveler will offer a refund on the individual item.
If the item was damaged by the shipper, please contact the shipping company directly for a refund.
What if there is a problem with my box (Broken items, Missing items, Wrong Book)?
Your happiness is our primary concern!
Missing Items or Wrong Book
If your box is missing an item or has the wrong book included please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do everything in our power to make it right!
We quality-check every Wordy Traveler product. Unfortunately, some damaged products slip by or are damaged while in shipment. All damage claims must be submitted within a 14-day period upon receiving the item. Please email email@example.com with your order number and pictures of the damages. The Wordy Traveler reserves the right to determine if a product is considered damaged and will issue a replacement or compensation.
Our books go through a rigorous quality check process; however, there are times when damages or some type occur.
Books are considered damaged if:
• They have a tear or dent bigger than 2 cm on the cover.
• Tears on the inside that extend into the text are considered damage.
• Books that have water damage.
• Books that should be signed and are not.
• Books missing text
We do not consider a book damaged if:
• Pages or the Dust Jacket have folds or creases.
• Uneven or over-sprayed edges.
• Scratches on any part of the book.
• The ink has variation in the gray scale
• Pages have creases
The following imperfections are considered Grade A quality and do not warrant a replacement:
• Small buff marks or scratches on the metal or enamel of the pin. Our enamel pins are hand buffed and will experience light scratches during this process that are unavoidable.
• Small air bubbles.
• Some slight imperfections in the metal plating.
• Some slight imperfections in screen printing details.
• Minor oxidation on the back of the pins.
Our ceramics are made of organic material that has a handmade component to them so slight imperfections are bound to happen. Below are imperfections that do pass our quality standards.
• Small but noticeable bubbles.
• Small but noticeable blank dot
• Small but noticeable under or over glazing
• Minor chips on the bottom of the ceramic that does not impede the integrity of the product.
*The Wordy Traveler does not replace or offer refunds on damages on the packaging of the products.
What If I received a duplicate box?
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. If the mistake is due to an issue with our system we will do our best to rectify it.
We will not offer a refund if the duplicate order is due to the customer placing a second order or second subscription.
My Subscription renewed and I didn't want it to?
We send multiple emails to ensure you are fully aware of an upcoming renewal.
You may not have received the email due to one of two reasons. The first is you have unsubscribed from email communications. The second is the email may have been placed in your junk folder.
Once a renewal is processed we can no longer issue a refund.

The Wordy Traveler LLC, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Wordy Traveler,” “Wordy Community,”, “Wordy Traveler Subscriptions ”, “we,” “us,” “our”), owns and operates The Wordy Traveler Services. The Wordy Traveler Services (the “Services”) shall include, without limitation, use of the Wordy Traveler website, the Wordy Traveler Subscriptionservice (“Wordy Traveler Subscriptions”), purchase of a Wordy Traveler and/or Box Subscription (defined below), including the goods and/or services included therein and any additional goods or services The Wordy Traveler LLC performs for you via the The Wordy Traveler Services.
Eligibility. To use the “Site” http://www.thewordytraveler.com you must be, and represent and warrant that you are, of legal age (18 years of age or older, or, if you have parental consent, 13 years of age) and competence. By using the Site on behalf of any third party, you are representing to us that you are an authorized representative of that third party and that your use of the Site constitutes that third party’s acceptance of these Terms. In addition, if you have been previously prohibited from accessing the Site or the website of any of our affiliates, you are not permitted to access the Site.

TERMS AND SERVICES MAY BE MODIFIED AT ANY TIME Lit Joy LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify these The Wordy Traveler Terms at any time by posting a notice on the The Wordy Traveler LLC website or by sending you a notice via email or postal mail. You shall be responsible for reviewing and becoming familiar with any such modifications. Continued use of the Services by you following such notice constitutes your acceptance of these The Wordy Traveler as modified.
ADVERTISEMENT The Wordy Traveler LLC may change, suspend or discontinue the Services at any time. The Wordy Traveler LLC may also impose limits on certain features and Services or restrict your access to parts or all of the Services.
REGISTRATION FOR CERTAIN SERVICES You will be required to register with your email address (“The Wordy TravelerUser ID”) and select a password to use certain Services. You may not use a name or email of another person with the intent to impersonate that person. You shall provide The Wordy Traveler LLC with accurate, complete, and updated registration information. You shall be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. Any failure to comply with this provision may result in immediate termination of your account. The Wordy Traveler LLC reserves the right to refuse registration of, or cancel a user account in its discretion. If you begin to register for Services or purchase a Box Subscription by providing your information on the The Wordy Traveler website but do not complete your registration or purchase, we may retain your name and email address and send you an email to remind you complete your registration or purchase, or to provide you with additional offers or details related to the Services. You can opt-out of receiving these emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the email or by contacting us at email@example.com
TERMS SPECIFIC TO The Wordy Traveler LLC The Wordy Traveler Subscriptions
YOU ARE PURCHASING AN AUTO-RENEWAL BOX SUBSCRIPTION Unless you are purchasing a one-time Special Edition or a one-time Gift Box for someone else, all Box Subscriptions automatically renew as described below unless cancelled in accordance with these The Wordy Traveler – See CANCELLATION OF YOUR AUTO-RENEWAL BOX SUBSCRIPTIONS below.
Through the The Wordy Traveler program, you may purchase a subscription to receive Quarterly shipments of a book and curated items, a book, or curated items. Box Subscriptions are available in a variety of lengths (each, a “Subscription Term”).
Initial Order. Your Box Subscription will begin depending on which Box is available for sale at the time of your initial order. For example, in the month of January, Q1 will be available for purchase. If you purchase the current quarter’s Box before the sales end date, your Box Subscription will begin in that current quarter.
Auto-Renewing Box Subscriptions. After your initial order and receipt of your first Box, The Wordy Traveler LLC expects to ship subsequent quarterly Boxes prior to or on the 20th of each calendar quarter, or the following business day if the projected shipment date is a holiday. Please note that while we do our best to maintain the projected shipment date, shipments may be delayed as a result of vendor issues, emergencies, severe weather, natural disaster, strikes, acts of government authorities, or other factors beyond The Wordy Traveler LLC’s reasonable control.
Quarter-to-Quarter: If you have chosen a quarterly recurring Box Subscription type (“Quarter-to-Quarter Subscription”), for your first month The Wordy Traveler LLC will charge you the relevant monthly Box Subscription fee at time of sign-up. For each subsequent quarter, you will be charged on the first (1st) of the quarter before your order is shipped.
Long-Term Box Subscription and Box Subscription Upgrades: If you choose a Box Subscription of longer than one quarter, for example, an annual subscription, or if you elect to upgrade your Subscription for an annual period (“Long-term Box Subscription”), the fee for the entire Subscription Term will be charged to you upon signing-up for your Long-term Box Subscription. Subscription Term length cannot be changed until the Subscription Term is up for renewal in accordance with CANCELLATION OF YOUR AUTO-RENEWAL SUBSCRIPTIONS section below. On the last month of the Subscription Term, if the Long-term Subscription is not cancelled, the Box Subscription will renew with the same Long-Term Box Subscription length as initially purchased.
Gift Subscriptions. If available, you may purchase and designate a purchase of a one-time Box or any Box Subscription as a “gift” for someone else during your order process (“Gift Subscription”). A “gift” may be purchased as a one-time Box in the The Wordy Traveler shop at, or as a Box Gift Subscription. Gift Subscription will renew as a Quarter-to-Quarter or Long-Term Box Subscription according to the renewal terms of the original purchase.
CANCELLATION OF YOUR AUTO-RENEWAL SUBSCRIPTIONS
At the end of a Subscription Term, your Box Subscription will automatically renew at the subscription term initially purchased, unless you log in to your The Wordy Traveler account and cancel your Box Subscription at any time prior to the 24 hours before he renewal date. For example, should you log in to cancel your Box Subscription at least 24 house before your renewal date, you will not incur any charges for the month, thereby ending your then-current Subscription Term iShould you log in and cancel your Box Subscription after the renewal you will be charged and receive the boxes that have been renewed and then your Subscription Term ends.
The Wordy Traveler LLC may limit quantities of or cancel Box Subscriptions purchased, and we reserve the right to refuse any order. In the event The Wordy TravelerLLC needs to change or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact information you provided at the time the order was made. The Wordy Traveler does not offer cancelations or refunds of orders. Under special circumstances where a refund is offered, refunds will be issued minus any processing fee.
BOX SUBSCRIPTION PRICING MAY CHANGE
The Wordy Traveler LLC reserves the right to change the prices and available Box Subscriptions at any time, upon notice to you, provided that any Box Subscription you have already paid for as of the date of such notice will not be affected by such change for the then-current Subscription Term. For avoidance of doubt, the Subscription Term of a Quarter-to-Quarter Subscription is one (1) quarter.
USE OF PROMOTIONAL CODES
The Wordy Traveler LLC may, from time to time in its sole discretion, offer certain promotional codes for discounts. Promotional codes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash, credit, or toward previous purchases. There is no cash alternative. Furthermore, promotional codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotional discount, and must be redeemed by the date published, if provided. Any promotional code may only be used in accordance with the terms provided with that promotional code or on the The Wordy Traveler website. Lost promotional codes cannot be replaced. Promotional codes will not be applied to subsequent automatically renewed transactions. Promotional codes are void where prohibited. Any promotional program may be terminated or modified by The Wordy Traveler LLC at any time in its sole discretion. Promotional codes may not be used in connection with LitJoy Crate.
NO RETURNS OR SUBSTITUTIONS
The creative team at The Wordy Traveler LLC curate all products offered through the Services, including the contents of each Box and the products selected forThe Wordy Traveler. We do not allow returns or substitutions of anything in your Box or any product purchased through The Wordy Traveler except as provided under our Damaged or Incomplete Items section below. Should The Wordy Traveler LLC decide to honor a return or exchange as determined in its sole discretion, we will either send you a replacement item or issue a refund for the damage item. If a replacement is sent, The Wordy Traveler requires that the items being replaced be destroyed. All refunds are issued in the original form of payment for all purchases. A third party carrier ships all products; as a result, title and risk of loss for any purchase will pass to you upon our delivery to the Carrier.
YOU MUST PROVIDE ACCURATE INFORMATION
The Wordy TravelerLLC will charge all fees for the Services to the credit card that you provide to us. For Box Subscriptions, any updates to your account (i.e. shipping and billing information) must be made prior to the first (1st) day of each calendar quarter for the updated details to apply to the subsequent quarter. GOVERNING LAW AND CHOICE OF FORUM
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Utah without regard to the conflict of laws provisions thereof. Subject to the arbitration provision and for all purposes of this Agreement, the parties consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the United States Federal Courts located in Utah.
NO AGENCY; NO ASSIGNMENT
This Agreement is not assignable, transferable or sublicensable by you except with The Wordy Traveler LLC‘s prior written consent. The Wordy Traveler LLC may transfer, assign or delegate this Agreement and its rights and obligations without consent. Headings for each section have been included for your convenience, but such headings do not have any legal meaning, and may not accurately reflect the content of the provisions they precede. No agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment is created as a result of this Agreement and you do not have any authority of any kind to bind The Wordy Traveler LLC in any respect whatsoever.
SURVIVAL OF TERMS
All provisions of the Agreement, which by their nature are intended to survive performance hereof by you or The Wordy Traveler LLC, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability, shall survive the completion of the performance, cancellation or termination of this Agreement.

How do I find my coupon code that I redeemed by award points for?
All reward points earned and coupon codes can be found by clicking "Redeem Points" on the Rewards Page. You must be logged into your account to view them. Note, once reward points have been exchanged for a coupon code they can no longer be tallied with your other reward points. Your unused coupon codes will never expire and can be used toward any future purchase.
How can I exchange my awards points for a coupon code?
On the rewards program pop up, click "Redeem Points". Select to exchange your points for a coupon code. Note that you must have enough reward points to qualify for the corresponding coupon code amount.
You can choose to use the coupon code now or later. It never expires and can only be used once. The coupon is saved on your account page under "Rewards History" where you can find it anytime.
Can I apply multiple coupon codes to the same order?
No, only one coupon code can be applied per order.
I exchanged my rewards points for a coupon code and forgot to apply it to my order? What should I do?
Coupons cannot be applied to any order that has already been processed. The coupon is saved on your account page under "Rewards History" where you can find it anytime and apply it to a future order.
Why are my rewards points missing?
Once reward points have been exchanged for a coupon code they can not be put back into points, even if you have not completed the checkout process. Your unused coupon codes will not expire and can be used toward any future purchase. Coupon codes are saved for you in the "Rewards History" section.
Why didn't my coupon code apply to my full order?
Please note, coupon codes never apply towards shipping or tax costs. Some coupon codes are only eligible for certain products or on a certain number of quarters.
